Ms. Liz
Hi! I’m Ms. Liz, mom of three, an early childhood educator and a big fan of 3-5 year olds! Nothing compares to sharing an “Aha!” moment with a student. I am inspired by the 3-5 year olds I work with because of their compassion, curiosity and creativity! I have worked as a teacher and Site Coordinator for Northwestern University’s Weekend Enrichment Program, developed programming and taught in my city's Early Childhood Program and was a lead teacher for 3 year olds at a popular early childhood center near me. ​I created The Pebble Academy so I could continue to inspire students to learn wherever they may be. Our Interactive Classes and Storytimes introduce children to new ideas through conversations, picture books readings and PreK skill building activities we engage in together.

The Pebble Academy is an online learning experience I originally developed for 3-5 year olds when the COVID-19 pandemic first prevented students from gathering in a classroom.
Each week we explore a new theme that’s geared towards Pre-K interests like: exploring the Arctic, fairy tales, outer space or construction and demolition. We ​incorporate ideas promoting pre-reading skills and early math strategies, as well as nature, community, family, arts and crafts, physical activity and music.
What we learn together during Interactive Classes and Storytimes is supported with a list of At Home Activity Ideas that will motivate students to continue thinking about what we have learned after our online session is completed.

Using your electronic device and internet access, we will connect via Zoom and bring The Pebble Academy online learning and play experience to you.

I have observed students gain confidence when encouraged to participate in an online learning and play experience that is welcoming, comfortable and tailored to them. When it's not possible to gather together in person, The Pebble Academy gives your learner a place to continue to engage socially and emotionally and strengthen their PreK skills.
